The Spring/Summer 2012 season finds Balmain launching a sub-line appropriately titled “Pierre Balmain” whose aim is to present a more casual aesthetic that maintains a “downtown coolness.” Preliminary images reveal signature styles that have been made more accessible, yet still maintain the integrity of the fashion juggernaut. To celebrate, the IFC Mall in Shaghai will be home to a popup shop that will be unveiled March 7 and run for four weeks.
